The "Republic of Singapore" to give it it's official title, is an island city-state located off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, sometimes referred to as the "little red dot", due to it's size, it is depicted as just that on many world maps!, or the "Lion City" although it is most unlikely that lions of any persuasion ever lived here, other than in the Singapore Zoo!.

Along with so many other countries in this region, it would be very easy to give it a miss!. And to many people, they may not not even hear about this small island nation which occupies a total land area of just over 700 square kilometres or just 270 square miles!.

But to miss out on visiting Singapore, would truly be to miss out on one of the world's finest travel destinations, a city that may be small in size, but more than compensates for that in friendliness, hospitality & culinary excellence!.

Hi, my name is Victor Lee (Vic to my friends) I grew up in Singapore and I absolutely love this place. I would like to extend my personal welcome to you & to my city. I would love to act as your guide to show you around our wonderful city, so that when you actually visit Singapore you get to see all of the places that never even appear on the maps!.

The truth is Singapore City is an acclaimed tourist hub bustling with activities and jam packed with plenty to do during your stay. Singapore is sometimes considered to be quite similar to it's Asian neighbour Hong Kong, it is from the point of view of being a modern skyscraper city full of great shopping & cultural experiences, but Singapore has a much more relaxed, greener & friendlier feel to it than Hong Kong AND is considerably better value!.

The cultural diversity of the country, religious and ethnic tolerance, photographic landscape, and cleanliness are compelling reasons why tourists keep coming over and over again to this city.

Well, most cities in the world have interesting places of interests. They offer good food and great shopping streets, and their nights are filled with entertaining fun.

Singapore is no different. Born and raised here, I can testify that Singapore offers the same entertaining experience as any other great cities in the world. And it offers more.

Singapore City is safe to travel.
It is clean and green.
And it is a shopper’s paradise.
