However, Singapore has many other attractions which are often left unexplored by tourists.
One of these attractions is Pulau Ubin. It is located east of Singapore, close to the Changi Airport .Here, there is a boardwalk where you can get close to the mangrove and enjoy nature. Bicycles are also on rent here and can be used to explore the whole island.
Another off the beaten path option is to visit a park. Singaporean families enjoy spending their weekends at parks such as East Coast Park and Pasir Ris Park. Here, there are cycling paths, a variety of restaurants and cafes, barbecue areas and much more. The Pasir Ris Park also has a huge playground which the kids will love.
Last but not least, the space between the City Link Mall and the Esplanade is a place where many teens love to hang out. Here, you can see the local teenagers perfecting their hip hop dance moves or just sitting down to chat with one another.
So, the next time you visit Singapore, get out of the tourist trail and head to somewhere new to experience another facet of Singapore.

Explore Singapore's Unknown Attractions
I am staying in Singapore for the month of June. When I was here last September, I was driven around to all the "clean and pristine" parts of Singapore and found it too sterile for my liking.
This time I am exploring Little India ,the Kampong Glam and the Ethnic Quarters and am glad to see that not everything is so crystal clean and has some character.
I am looking forward to trying some attractions off the beaten path like you have listed.
Thanks, Tara Why not pop along & say hi to Tara at her blog Tara The Tiger?.
