Getting Into Sentosa Island





Getting into Sentosa has never be easier. There are various ways to get there – by taking the Cable Car, driving, taking a bus or taking the Sentosa Express.

Cable car:

Cable Car SingaporeGetting into Sentosa by its famous cable car is by far the most enjoyable way of traveling to the island. Glide through the air and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery on the 1.6km ride. You may choose to begin your ride from Harbourfront cable car station (located at Harbourfront Tower 2) or from Mount Faber station. You will eventually reach Sentosa on its Cable Car Arrival Plaza, where its nearest attractions are Tiger Sky Tower and the Images of Singapore.



Driving or Taxi:

If you’re driving, you’ll need to prepare to pay $2 per person at the Sentosa gantry. Car owners will also be required to pay an additional $2 car entry charge. Depending on where you plan to go, you may choose to park your car at the following car parks available.

  • Imbiah Lookout Car Park
  • Beach Car Park
  • Dolphin Lagoon Car Park
  • Tanjong Beach Car Park

Please note that no motorcycle is allowed.

Sentosa Express:

Opened in 2007, the Sentosa Express is a $140 million light rail system that provides easy access to the Sentosa Island. Travel in comfort from the Sentosa Station located in VivoCity

At $3 per person, the Sentosa Pass includes admission to Sentosa Island. It currently serves 3 stations namely: Sentosa Station, Imbiah Station and Beach station

Sentosa Express

Sentosa Bus:

You may take the Sentosa Bus that is available for boarding at the Harbourfront Bus Interchange. The Sentosa Bus departs every few minutes and it’s affordable at $3 per person. Guests boarding this bus will alight at the Beach Station, where it’s nearest to all the fun and action. Remember to keep the ticket with you, as it allows you to board the Sentosa Bus again when you are leaving the island.
