Images of Singapore

Images of Singapore is a historical museum located at Imbiah Lookout on the Sentosa Island. It showcases Singapore’s multi-racial cultures and history through a series of exhibits by using life-size figures, rare artifacts, and the latest technologies to bring the historical Singapore to life.

You begin your tour of the "Images of Singapore" by entering the Four Winds Office. Here, a multimedia show named the “Four Winds of Singapore” that uses state-of-the-art technology will tell you the story of how our forefathers arrived at Singapore in the 19th century.

What’s interesting here is you can slowly walk through time as you learn about Singapore’s history from its earliest days to the present.

Here, you can also witness the different traditions of Singapore culture. From Chinese Opera, to Indian new year (Deepavali) and Malay kampong games, this museum is a must to visit if you want to have a better understanding of how Singapore became what it is today.

There is also a restaurant and souvenir shop at the end of the tour, located right at the exit of the museum.
