Orchard Road, Singapore

Orchard Road can also be known as the shopping hub of Singapore. Also known as Orchard, it is undisputed that this is Singapore’s most famous shopping area.

An area that once consisted of orchards and plantations, it gave way to pioneering shopping malls like C.K.Tangs and Plaza Singapura in the 1970s. Over the years, Orchard Rd has emerged into a premier shopping belt we all know & love today!.

Apart from C.K.Tangs and Plaza Singapura, Orchard Road shopping malls include Ngee Ann City, Far East Plaza, The Centrepoint, Paragon Shopping Centre and The Heeren. Of course, there are many more malls along this road for you to venture.

Do drop by the Orchard Singapore Visitor Centre to pick up some maps and tips to explore both Orchard Road and Singapore. The information brochures can be a great help and best of all, it’s free. Approach any of the staff for any query or advice.

If your purpose of visit is to shop, be sure to stay in a hotel near Ochard Road to save your traveling time. Late night shopping is extended to 11pm on Saturdays.

Visit Orchard Road during Christmas to enjoy an enchanting time strolling through the Orchard Christmas Light-up.

Forum Forum the Shopping Mall
Family-oriented venue that boasts a unique mix of stores and eateries. Anchor tenants - Toys "R" Us and Julia Gabriel centre for learning. Wide selection of fashion wear, F & B outlets, educational centers and paediatric and dental clinics.

The Heeren
HMV, the largest music superstore in Southeast Asia. Restaurants on Level 5 offer a mouthwatering selection of Asian cuisine, from Peranakan to Japanese and Thai. Great place for the young and trendy.

Ion Orchard
The 'centre of gravity' in the retail scene, ION has the world's best brands, concept and lifestyle stores within one development. There are four levels above ground and four levels below.

Lucky Plaza
A shopping mall that somehow became the main focal point for domestic workers to meet their friends during their off days. The place is known to be very crowded on Sundays with many shops selling products from the Philippines.

Mandarin Gallery

Ngee Ann City

Orchard Central
