When searching for short term room rental Singapore, I met a nice woman named Elaine. She rents out her 3-room apartment for a reasonable price.
The apartment is nice and is located at Clementi Heights, which is just a few minutes away from the Clementi MRT Station. That made it easy for me to go from where I stayed or wherever it is that I needed to go.
The maps

The location of the apartment is also near a lot of food markets, hawker centers, banks and many shops. You can basically run all the errands that you need just by stepping out of the apartment.
It definitely saved me some money when it came to transportation because I mostly just walked around to get what I need like food, extra clothes, office supplies and even some stuff to bring for people back home.

But let’s get back to talking about the apartment.

Elaine’s apartment has a full kitchen with all the utilities available for you to use. But if you want to cook your own food, you’ll have to buy your own ingredients. The refrigerator and pantry can also be used so you don’t have to worry about having to buy food and every day since you can conveniently store them.

There’s also a nice living room where you can spend your time watching TV or chatting with a friend or two. Off to one side of the room is a nice space for a dining area. You can fit a small table to sit 3-4 people

The standard room, as Elaine called it, or what you could refer to as a guest room, features a double bed for two people, a closet to hang up about a week or so worth of clothes. The only downside to renting the common room is that there’s no bathroom so you’re going to have to share the bathroom with the owner. Some people might find it a bit uncomfortable but the owner always try to make it comfortable for you such as the bathroom been clean every day, free or odour. And the bathroom only the owner use it. So this shouldn't be a problem.

The master bedroom can also be rented and it features a double bed for 2 people, a closet that’s slightly bigger than that in the common room and a private bathroom. The bathroom is quite small but adequate with a shower, toilet and personal sink. The shower also has a heater so that’s a big plus for me.
The master bedroom can actually accommodate up to 4 people, but with the bed only made for 2, you can ask for an extra bed to be put in the room if needed.

If you’re planning to stay in Singapore for quite a while, you don’t need to worry about finding a Laundromat for your dirty clothes as you can use the washing machine in Elaine’s apartment. Again, you’re going to need to buy your own detergent and fabric softener too.

The apartment is also equipped with wi-fi so you can check your e-mail and go online whenever you need to.
Basically, you can use any of the utilities and appliances found inside the home.
I guess you can also consider Elaine as some sort of feature of the house. Since she’s staying at the same apartment, she’ll be able to help you in case of any emergency.
Elaine’s very kind and accommodating that you’re more likely to feel like a relative of hers rather than a tenant.
With so much to offer so how much is the rent for these rooms?
For Common room is SGD $70/night
For Master bedroom is SGD $85/night, with extra bed charges is SGD $10/person/night.
If you have any further questions about the apartment, or if you would like to book any of the rooms, please contact Elaine by simply filling up the form below. With her kindness, diligence and hospitality, you’ll find her a joy to do business with.
