Singapore is very easy to explore because so many public transportation services available to you. Singapore MRT system is easy, efficient buses, and taxis are available in abundance. We recommend the ez link card - available for $ 15 from any MRT - which ensures no cash payment for all bus and MRT.

Transportation in singapore is very convenient compared to other country in Asia, such as Malaysia and Indonesia.

There is no way you can find any transportation problems in singapore. They have a clear signboard and everything in order.

Bus

Singapore MRT

Singapore MRT is very convenience, punctual, clean and open from 6 am in the morning until 12 o'clock midnight. Singapore MRT fare starts from S$1 or 70 cents if you have EZ link card and can be bought in all MRT Station.

Taxi

There are 4 taxi company operates in Singapore:

Comfort and CityCab - (65) 6552-1111

Premier Taxi - (65) 6363-6888

SMRT Taxi - (65) 6555-8888

Their start rate is about $2.80 - 3.20, but additional extra charges will be applied if you made a reservations first or ride in peak hours

Just a little trik, you can all 6-Dial-Cab or (65) 6342-5222 - a service that will automatically direct your call to the first company that have available taxi

River Taxi

For a different experience in exploring the island, try one of these river taxis. Singapore river cruise operates daily from 9.00 am until 23.00 pm with the last departure at 22:30. Trishaws

Trishaws will make you get into the ancient era to the attractiveness of the past when life does not have to hurry. This vehicle can be found at Bugis, Waterloo intersection, and Albert Street. They have some around Chinatown, Raffles Hotel and Little India. You have to agree with the fare first before you ride.

It is absolutely different experience from all singapore transportation that I mention above.
