Taste Paradise at ION Orchard, Singapore
Our family recently celebrated our mum's 75th birthday at Taste Paradise, a place many now consider the newest classiest place to dine in Singapore (after Jade Crystal Restaurant).
In the heart of Orchard Road, it's about the only Chinese restaurant that also serves fresh sashimi (dinner) alongside with Chinese dishes, and Hong Kong Dim Sum (lunch only).
What would you consider when you think of a special place to celebrate or entertain your guests?
These are a few things I took into consideration when rating the restaurant and its range of food:
* its atmosphere (was it very noisy, was it easy to find, etc)
* service level (are staff passionate abt the food they serve, enthusiastic?; did they get our orders right, etc)
* functionality of menu (one of the things most food reviews don't consider)
* taste of food and nutrition level of food
* price range of food served
The only thing I forgot to look for was, champagne and pool (swim pool that is) and a private room for breastfeeding (not that I need one but I just thought of it!)
