Underwater World in Sentosa

The Underwater World is an oceanarium located on Sentosa Island. Opened in 1991 & is home to some 2,500 marine animals of 250 species from different regions of the world.

The oceanarium is underground and has an 83-metre (272 ft) long travelator that moves visitors along a submerged 6-millimetre (0.24 in) thick acrylic-windowed tunnel from which they can look at an array of marine life including coral reefs, stingrays, moray eels, turtles, sharks and others.

It is also involved in several environmental and educational projects, such as the "Living in the Ocean Programme", "Ocean Ambassador Programme" and the "Coral Club".

Marvel at the great white shark, the gigantic turtles, eels and many more marine animals as they co-exist in this big oceanarium. It is a fantastic experience to be surrounded by them.

When you first enter into this oceanarium, be prepared to get up close and personal with the starfish, stingrays and baby sharks at the Touch Pool.

Be sure to catch their feeding time, as divers will be swimming with the fish offering them morsels of food.

The ticket price also includes admission to the Dolphin Lagoon at Palawan Beach on Sentosa Island.
